About
Matthew McCalla serves as the Chief Operating Officer of KDT and leads the PSC Branch. While Michael Schulz leads the charge externally, Matthew's focus is on the internal operations, ensuring the highest quality of leadership, professionalism and charity. Matthew dedicates himself to making KDT an effective force for good.
Background
McCalla is a perennial leader and challenge seeker. After graduating as the salutatorian and president of his high school in Pennsylvania he matriculated at Harvard University. There he graduated with a degree in Comparative Religion with study of Russian and Norwegian language.
After Harvard he volunteered for the United States Army, graduated from Officer Candidate School and chose to serve as an Infantry Officer. He deployed once with 10th MTN Division, earned his Ranger Tab, and served as a platoon leader before leaving the service.
Matt is an active member of his Church, a perennial student, and avid lifter and martial artist with an interest in language and foreign affairs. He lives to lead in the field and excels at the task.
